Sibylle Bergmann is one of the most important German photographers of our day. Her work expresses a critical view of the reality of the GDR and reflects the conditions of that time. After a successful run of exhibitions in Berlin at the “Akademie der Künste” und in Braunschweig at the “Museum für Photographie” the exhibition is now being shown internationally. During the Head On Photo Festival, the exhibition will be open for visitors in Sydney for the first time. Head On Photo Festival is world’s second largest festival of photography. This exhibition is brought to you in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut, the Institut of Foreign Relationship in Germany (ifa), Sydney College of the Arts and Head On Photo Festival.
