Together with his dedicated team of about 25 members of staff, he is working on maintaining and further strengthening the bilateral relationships between Germany and Australia. These relationships include political, economic and defence matters, as well as consular and cultural affairs and public relations.
Ambassador Dr Müller took up his position in September 2011. He is also accredited to Papua New Guinea.
The Ambassador represents the President of the Federal Republic of Germany and the German Government in Australia.
