AIMEX 2017 - Asia-Pacific's International Mining Exhibition
From the 29th until the 31st of August the international mining industry fair AIMEX took place at Sydney Olympic Park.
The fair is an international mining exhibition hosting over 400 different exhibitors presenting their products and services. Germany was represented by 28 exhibitors who presented their innovative products.
AIMEX offers a platform for Australian and international providers of mining technology, equipment and services to exchange ideas and products with mining industry buyers throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Apart from exhibition stands visitors of the AIMEX could also listen to speeches with more than 30 speakers and attend several workshops or net-working events.
One networking event was organized by Balland Messe-Service GmbH in cooperation with the German Consulate General and the German-Australian Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The event was opened by the German Consul General Lothar Freischlader, the Manager of Competence Centre for Mining and Mineral Resources Dr Bernd Länger and and Alan Broadfoot, professor at the Newcastle Institute of Energy and Resources. Around 80 participants, both exhibitors and external guests attended this event.
